hahah me kari, and tamara at the gas station right outside of campus. we were on our way to lancaster and we saw these hats and just HAD to get our picture with them hahahah

now i must say...how cool are we?? too cool!! hehe me and erin and the lamb lol and of course the stylish little baby purses that we just sooo wanted to get but just had to hold ourselves back from : ) hahaha

fun, God filled things that happened this week : ).....

~getting help and encouragement from Betsy while studying for my A&P test and stats quiz...you the best roomie ever bets...thanks for being such an amazing women of God : )

~getting a 100% on my stats quiz cause God puts amazing people in your life to help you
~me and bets bouncing up and down on Erin and Sarah's excerise balls just cause we could ha ha it was so funny
~bargaining with the boys to try and get our stuff back cause we are in a war ha ha

~having Betsy and Erin care enough to bring me dinner while at work : )
~getting to ride on the bus with the cross country to team to see my first ever cross country meet...it was soo much fun...me and bets got to be the water girls lol
~Erin is the most patient and understanding person i have ever met and you are such a woman of God and i love you so much and i am honored to be your friend and i can see God in everything that you do..u go girl ha ha

*more laughter then anyone should have when flicking carrots at each other like in elemtary school...haha i love laughter : )

so basically this week was crazy and hard work but these moments are the ones to remember and the ones that we will laugh about and remeber how God gave us these people and these times to fellowship and be with him and be around people who love him as much as i do. thanks God : ) i love you : )

hahaha to say the least tonight was the prefect end to a really really hectic week. man it felt so good to just laugh and not have to worry about studying for another crazy hard class. dont get me wrong i love love love being here and being able to take these classes and i am actually loving the major i'm in now which is better then last year to say the least lol. its just been a week of....getting into a routine and i also think that God was really trying to show me that this isnt going to be a piece of cake but if i want this bad enough and i give it my all he will pull me through and give me the strength to do it : ) He is an amazing and wonderful God. : )

haha but yeah so i sooo wish that i had pictures from tonight or that you could have been there cause i dont think i have laughed that hard in quite awhile lol. we just got to hang out and celebrate julie's b-day (happy birthday julie!!! ) and just be together as a bunch of Christian's hanging out. i love love love that this can just happen here. i love that God has brought me here and has placed me here. i can feel that these next three years are going to be amazing. but yeah so we got to celebrate her birthday and her mom and best friend came up from baltimore which was so niccce of them. how sweet : ). the fun really began when erin suggested that we play this game called...umm i think it was pictionary telephone. oh my goodness i have never laughed so hard. everyone gets 8 papers and the u write a phrase and then you pass them. the person draws a pic of that phrase. pass them and then the next person writes what they think the pic means and so on.. man did it get funny lol. and then i was getting so tire which is so unattractive lol. sorry to all who had to witness it haha. man i love you all messiah friends. please just know that you have been such blessings to me and have truly truly helped me to be so comfortable and love being here, you guys are amazing and thank you God so much for putting them into my life : )

God is amazing and everlasting. He can bring us through the "storm" and we can "see the morning" cause i did. even though my storm was something as silly as a stressful school week, just know that even if you are going through something that u think u cant make it through just know, please know that God is going to life you up and carry you even if you feel like you cant make it. He has blessed me with people to help me and i pray that u have people u can rely on and see God in too. night all :)

Oh man so its pretty late and i have alot to say but man i dont know how long i can hold up lol. alright so here it goes.

last week...August 30th...i moved into school at Messiah College. As many of you know (or do not know) i transfered to Messiah this year. To say the least I am loving it to death. It feels like camp, that atmosphere and the people and just you can feel God in everything and i just love all the service stuff thats available and its just so wonderful. It also so wonderful and a true blessing from God to get closer to Betsy and also Erin and Tamara and all the CC girls that i have got to meet and just get to know so well these past two weeks. I have only been here about a week and half or so but it just feels so much better then UD ever did (no offense all u UD people! i still love you! : ) ). It is truly a blessing to be here.

Classes are going ok. Things are starting to pick up so its gonna get crazy but i can feel God holding me up and just keeping me strong cause i really think i want this. Its gonna be long and hard but the end result is gonna be sweet : ). I'm probably gonna do track in the spring so thats gonna be sweet. The work outs start Monday so thats gonna be pretty crazy but i think that it will keep me busy and focused which will be great. I also got a lifeguarding job which was from God cause it is so perfect how it worked out and i got the hours that i needed. i also really wanna get involved and volunteer at the Hershey Med Center cause i just really think that it would be amazing. ever since i started following livi's story it just really touched me and made me want to work with little kids like that.

Alrighty well i'm starting to loose speed lol. we got church in the morn so we gotta be up and ready for that. night all

everyone should do this walk for the little girl in the picture above. Her name is Alivia Haughery and she passed away from a short but hard and determined battle with leukemia. I got this picture from the blog that her mom kept when she was going through all this and to share what was happening with Livi as she fought this cancer. This precious little girl touched so many lives in her 2 years on earth and I pray that you will take some time out of your schedule to walk and raise money for other little kids with cancer so that you can help them beat it. check out the website www.lightthenight.org and find the walk closes to you. thanks and God bless : )

Steelers Game!!!! : )

Me and Jimmy got to go to the steelers game today!! It was sooo much fun!! It was alittle more low key then a regular game just cause it was pre-season but hey it was a blast : ) : ). We got there alittle late cause jimmy had a soccer picnic (which was as boring as all get out lol ). But when we got there and went to go find our seats we discovered that they were unbelievable!! they were so close to the field. They were one level up from the field and right on the side of the end zone. it was a great night. we got down there safe on the T and made it back safe too on T (my dad almost drove all the way downtown to pick us up cause my mom was worried about us being down there..thanks for worrying mum but we were fine :) ).

Another really great thing about today was that i got to spend time with Betsy before she left for Messiah tomorrow (3 more days baby!!) which was a blessing cause i feel like God has allowed us to become alot closer which is great cause we get to continue that friendship at school. And also with other people from church like John, Dan, Steve, and of course Mr. Behrens and others. I got the privilege of meeting two guys who go to Pitt and go to our church now who are from Alaska! how cool is that? lol. i thought it was pretty sweet anyways lol. So yeah we got to go the food court and then me, Betsy, John, Steve, Anderew, and Thomas all went to play Frisbee at the practice field at the high school. Funny part about that was that we went from the old quinlisks park to the real field then to the practice field and were finally able to play. But God gave us that field to play on so that we could all get our exercise and fellowship and stuff. It was a really great game cause it was 3 on 3 which gave us all a sweet amount of playing time lol. Then after that all went to Rita's and me and Betsy got to listen to some MAE on the way from the CD that john burned for betsy (u forgot the booklet john haha). Rita's was really fun and we had a great time just hanging : ) (thanks bets for paying for mine since i was the cool kid that only had a debit card with me lol)

so basically it was just another God filled day. I really love being able to be so close to the people at church and thank God for people like Betsy who are going to make my transition into my new college that much better. Thanks God for this great day and good night all : )

Just Another Day in Paradise

Love that song lol. So today was just an ordinary day. I had to work at the aunts restaurant today and yesterday so that was kindof tiring. But i have to say that its always so amazing the strength that God gives me to get through a day of work there cause it can get long sometimes. I always am so tired before i go but when i get there i seem to be able to go about doing things like i was never tired. thats until i finally sit down haha. but yeah it really is amazing to see God's hand in the smallest things. i also was able to order a good majority of my books for my classes. I'm kinda nervous about all this new stuff-new school, new major. But i really really truly believe that God has sent me and put me at Messiah for a reason. Its gonna be amazing; i can feel it : ) i leave thursday which leaves me about 4 days till i go to school so its getting to crunch time with packing and all that. alrighty well church in the morn so i think its time for bed. night

So this is the first post of my blog lol. I kinda just wanted to do this so that I could daily reflect on the blessings that God has given me cause I have always wanted to be able to do that but I have never been much of a journal keeper so i figured since I like being on the comp it would motivate me more to journal or whatever. Alrighty well work is gonna come bright and early so its off to bed.
